At the Adelaide Fungal Nail Laser Clinic, we decided to provide the most state of the art treatment facility to give our clients the best opportunity for clear, healthy nails. Therefore, following much research, we decided to invest approximately a quarter of a million dollars in not just one brand of laser but the two most technologically advanced lasers on the market in the Class 4 K Laser and Class 2 Lunula Cold Laser.

Another difference is that our qualified podiatrists and podiatry assistants will see you on every visit to ensure you get the best expert care. We do not get a beauty therapist or receptionist to put you on a machine and walk away.

By having our podiatry team perform the laser treatments rather than unqualified staff you are also able to claim treatments on private health insurance and Medicare if your doctor has given you a referral.

During every consultation you will be recommended to use our shoe steriliser which will remove the fungal spores in your shoes.

Cost

Providing effective care within the financial reach of South Australians is our top priority. Most cosmetic laser clinics and podiatry clinics in Australia charge significantly more than the Adelaide Fungal Nail Laser Clinic. Our laser treatments are claimable for those with private health insurance (with relevant extra covers) because our podiatrists conduct the consultation. In order to do the same day claiming, please remember to bring your private health insurance card to your appointment. The team here will be able to manage your private health insurance balance, claims and payments easily. On the spot claiming with the HICAPS machine will reduce your out-of-pocket expense. If you have a chronic medical condition and are eligible for a Medicare plan, Medicare may rebate. It is up to your doctor discretion and they are in charge of putting together the referral process, not the team here.

Originally the Adelaide Podiatry Centres, it was founded in 2002 to create a clinic which would provide the local community a world class facility for the treatment and prevention of foot and leg problems within the financial reach of most South Australians.

To do this we invest in our team both financially and with time with extensive training and purchasing world class technology.

We welcome all patients including:

You do not need a referral to have an appointment with us.

Is there private health rebates for Cold Laser Treatment for fungal nails?

Yes, private health will cover both the podiatry item codes for the Consultation F014 and the laser therapy F145. We will discuss this with you at your initial assessment appointment and we can provide quotes directly through on the spot claims.

Do I need a referral to see Adelaide Fungal Nail Laser Clinic?

Referrals are not necessary as we are podiatrists.

A referral can be beneficial as it gives a summary of the concern, results obtained to date, as well as any specific requests. We can provide a personalised treatment plan and liaise closely with your doctor.
